We decided that our main Genre would be Indie becuase it fits in with the song we were given which is Cloud Control - "Promises"

The singer is wearing provocative clothing in order to appeal to both male and female sexes. In this image you can't really see her because she is surrounded by the darkness which could emphasise the dark message the video is trying to portray.
Bright lighting is used which creates a sense of nostalgia and also allows the viewers to think about what the music video is trying to say. It also gives of a very oldschool vibe which is very popular nowadays.
Mirrored effects used in order to create a sense of floating and surrealism. Black and white editing is used to highlight the singers bone structure.

Interesting camera angles are used in this video such as this medium close up side view shot, which creates the illusion of someone spying on her around the corner.

In this shot the lighting is very bright and natural coming from outside almost making this woman appear to be an angel which is not the case throughout the duration of ths video.
The lighting used in this shot is quite dark emphasising the darkness of what they are doing and that something looms over them. She is also wearing provocative clothing and showing a lot of cleavage.
This is a close up of the main protagonist consuming alcohol. It could also be considered as a beauty shot used to make the female appear "ageless".
The lighting is very dark with the only source of light coming from the people holding torches behind the main protagonist. The camera is also shaky creating a disoriented feel.
The opening credits are really simple with the name of the song is capital letters which indicates that the name gives away a huge clue as to what the video is about.
