I researched a range of Hip-Hop/R&B songs in order to get an idea of what our music video could include if we followed this genre.

Provocative Clothing is used in this music video in order to enhance the sex appeal of the female singer which then allows room for a male target audience.
The use of strobe lights are very significant in this music video because it adds an edge and is more appealing to younger audiences.
Silhouette's are used to emphasise the singers body and curves to further appeal to male audiences as well as making the video visually stunning.
Product placement is used which allows people to buy the item advertised in the music video.
Trendy clothes and props are used in order to allow the younger audience to purchase the clothes that she is wearing and they are advertising. It also emphasises the youthful playful fun they are having in the video.
Provocative clothing and dance moves are used in order to appeal to the male dominated audience and also show of the leads talents, she can sing as well as dance.
Beauty shots are used in order to make the lead appear "ageless" so that she appeals to all markets especially the younger audience.

Wide shots of the teens walking down a street, pulled focus on the teenagers and trendy clothes to appeal to the wider teenage market.
Close up and handheld camera shots to emphasise the disorientated actor as he has just discovered his step-mother cheating on his father with another man.
The lighting is really low and natural coming from the windows surrounding the actors, emphasising that what they are doing is bad that they have just been caught in the act.
